Subject: The Elks Distribution Edition - Update
Date: Sat, 08 Jun 2002 13:26:54 +0100 (BST) [thread overview]

For those who may be wondering. The Distribution Edition
project is still in progress. I have 2 issues, that are
being progressed outside of public mailing, which are
fundamental to the completion of the first true beta of the
Distribution Edition. Once these issues are resolved I
fully expect a "partition selective" and "multi-os-boot
capable" version to follow soon after. I am very greatful
to the several people have been involved in the progress of
these 2 issues. But particular thanks to Riley and to
Pascal for being very patient with me in areas that are at
the extremes of certain of my capabilities.
I'll drop another update to the group when I have further
progress to report or just to let you know I am still here !
Finally many thanks for the kind words that I have
recieved, in public and private, in support of the project.
These really do help to spur me on !
Many Thanks
Neil
