Anyway, I'm typing away, and thinking that the only thing I'm lacking on this machine that I've got on my Linux console is the option of using the mouse for cut-and-paste using gpm. I don't see why it couldn't be ported/cloned for elks as well, has anyone thought of that or tried it yet? Dan
