	0.13pre1 wouldn't compile until I had removed a pair
of parentheses in line 588 of arch/i86/boot/setup.S.
In elksnet, ktcp.c and autoconf.h complain about not
being able to find and include the files
linuxmt/time.h and linuxmt/autoconf.h, respectively,
and when I got just the kernel compiled and copied the
image on to floppy via dd, it put out a lot of
nonsense along with the kernel output. In addition, I
don't think any Linux distros include a /mnt/elks
directory for mounting the elkscmd floppy images.
