You're best off gettin= g Dev86 and the source and compiling 0.1.3 yourself. It's pretty basic,= but functional. I started looking at networking (SLIP only), but since= switching to a new PC (new meaning an 8088 made in 1988), I havent bee= n able to make a boot disk. In case you didn't know, Dev86 is in Gentoo's Portage ;) -Ben --- On Sun, 7/20/08, Hanno B=F6ck wrote: > From: Hanno B=F6ck > Subject: Anyone alive, images for latest elks? > To: linux-8086@vger.kernel.org > Date: Sunday, July 20, 2008, 11:24 AM > Hi, >=20 > I got an old 286 to play with recently and as I knew about > elks for a long=20 > time now, I wanted to give it a shot. >=20 > I noticed that while there has been an 0.1.3 release, no > boot images are found=20 > on sourceforge.
