Anyways if this is not what you mean, please tell some > more specific ideas of your definition to "User friendly" :) > It is not a matter of "I don't like this method" or "I prefer GUI". I don't mind to edit a txt file to config something, or type "./configure; make; make install". How would I say this...? Think on Minix. It is not friendly for typical Windows users, but you type "make" and it works, or provides some error message. If your hardware is supported, it works; otherway, it doesn't. You don't need to do some magic with pitrix in order to create a minixfs for minix, or boot minix. There is not "magic", just a basic OS and HW knowledge. I am not talking on specific errors or bugs on elks, but talking on a "letter of intention". That is: do you want elks to be used by hackers? Or do you want elks to be used by final users? CAUTION: the first option is also aceptable (that is, OS for embebded systems, or a base for other to provide the user-friendliness), but... what does the programmer want? That's the way the freesoftware works. Regards, -- Javier Sedano Jarillo: javier.sedano@agora-2000.com (http://www.it.uc3m.es/~jsedano) Agora Systems, S.A.
