Is anybody out there?

It's hard to know whether this project is alive. The links to the
mailing lists archives are broken, and the homepage says the CVS access
is down. But actually CVS access seems to be working, for me at least, I
was able to check out stuff, although I can't tell whether it has been
updated recently, oddly enough the cvs web interface doesn't show any dates.
So ...
is there anyone home?

Do you know why the homepage says that the CVS access is broken? Is it
just the write access? anonymous access seems fine, although there isn't
much there. I just did:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@elks.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/elks login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@elks.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/elks co

Is this code not up to date? I'm looking into using elks with a 16bit
microcontroller with an architecture derived from that of the 8086.
