Hi,

I got an old 286 to play with recently and as I knew about elks for a long
time now, I wanted to give it a shot.

I noticed that while there has been an 0.1.3 release, no boot images are found
on sourceforge. The ones there are pretty old.

Any up-to-date images out there?

Hello Hanno,

The 0.1.0 images are, AKAIK, the latest around. You're best off getting Dev86 and the source and compiling 0.1.3 yourself. It's pretty basic, but functional. I started looking at networking (SLIP only), but since switching to a new PC (new meaning an 8088 made in 1988), I havent been able to make a boot disk.

In case you didn't know, Dev86 is in Gentoo's Portage ;)

You can download 0.1.4 from the Dioscure emulator website:

http://dioscuri.sourceforge.net/

Elks 0.1.4 (not sure if this is a special build or offical release):

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=200001&package_id=238033
