Subject: ACPI SuSE 8.2

Message-ID: <1053127958.3923.13.camel@zipur.doublet> (raw)
I had trouble with ACPI on my Acer TM 430 on SuSE 8.1 so I redid my
Kernel to the latest 2.4.20-6x with still getting the error:
Your computer seems to have a partial ACPI installation
brobably ACPI was enabled, but some of the sub-options
were not enabled - you need to enable at least 'AC Adaptor'
and 'Control Method Battery' and rebuild your kernel.
So I did a fresh install of SuSE 8.2 ... same error as above.
I thought that SUSE 8.2 was all ready to go with ACPI ... babey it is my
laptop? The Acer TM 430 is brand new... ideas?
Thanks
