Actually, the only problem is that RH 9 is based on the kernel 2.4.20 - and swsusp exists only for 2.4.22. I am ok to build the kernel 2.4.20 with some patches I specifically added (and patches officially added by RH) - but I am scared to change the version:) Anyway, these are my own problems.
