Second off, here is the kernel message that I get when I have pci=noapic sent to the kernel (two relevant lines, as far as I can tell): Looking for DSDT in initrd ... not found! Acpi: IRQ9 SCI: Edge set to Level Trigger After this the boot process hangs.... Any ideas? And what bugs should I report to kernel.org? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
