Subject: TC1100 on Intel 82801DB, serial port.
Date: Thu, 18 Mar 2004 18:12:58 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1079633577.22469.31.camel@localhost> (raw)

Hi All,

Please feel free to ignore my ramblings but, I'm new to ACPI I have been
given the task of getting linux working on a hp tc1100, all works, but
the serial port that the touchscreen that works off is turned off.

There was a patch to make turn it on the earlier model "tc1000", but
that was based on a VIA chipset not the Intel one.
http://linux-tablet-pc.dhs.org/fpi2002-0.1.tar.gz

How to I go about turn on the serial port, or finding information on how
to find out to do this :-)

I have tried it on the 2.4 and the 2.6.4-rc1, its still not enabled.

Any help / direction would be wonderful,

Thanks
  David Stubbs.
