I've followed all the howto's on decompiling and recompiling the DSDT and applied some of the fixes to the errors that came up, but LID and POW events are still not detected and sleep and suspend don't work properly either. If someone with greater knowledge of ACPI would be willing to work with me I'd be very much appreciative (as would many other 5150 Linux users).
