That is . . . When the lid closes When the ac adapter is not plugged in The latop should sense this. When running on battery the gnome battery meter does not seem to understand. My understanding is that for these features to work there should be some files to control events under /proc/acpi/battery and /proc/acpi/ac_adapter but there is nothing under these directories. Are these scripts generic? can i drop them in from another system? How do i get the ACPI implentation working?
