I'm using kernel 2.6.6. The main problem that I'm having is that lid events don't seem to work properly. If I check the /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID/state file, it's always listed as being closed. I've corrected my DSDT and have eliminated all errors/warnings and have recompiled the kernel to integrate the new DSDT, but this has no effect. I've also removed all APIC support from the kernel and have passed acpi_os_name="Microsoft Windows XP" as a kernel option. None of this makes any difference. Anybody have any thoughts? regards, JP ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
