I have a laptop. It has brightness control buttons on it, which,
unfortunately, don't work under Linux. I was wondering. Are backlight and
brightness controlled by ACPI as well? How would one go about controlling
them?

Alternatively, if you have an Asus/Medion or Toshiba laptop then there are kernel drivers that support their hotkeys. -- Matthew Garrett | mjg59-1xO5oi07KQx4cg9Nei1l7Q@public.gmane.org ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
