After I have suspended my notebook using acpi, I cannot mount my cdrom anymore. If I try, the system freezes, as soon as it gets data from the cdrom (at least I think so, you can hear the cdrom-drive starting to read data, after some seconds, everything stops, I don't see any oops messages). I even tried unloading the ide-cd driver first or using ide-scsi, both the same. Has somebody got the same problem or can try the same configuration on his thinkpad? I had to append acpi_sleep=s3_bios to my kernel to make it work with acpi. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
