After compiling a new kernel (2.6.10) with a custom DSDT, ACPI seems to work (almost) fine. Processor, thermal-zones, lid-button, etc, all seem ok. However, the Fn+F7 & Fn+F8 key combinations for controlling screen brightness stop working when X is started. I have previously used exactly this custom DSDT without the above problem on the same machine running RedHat 9 and a 2.4.21 kernel. Any input on how to solve this is much appreciated! /Anders ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases.
