Hi Shaohua,

tried 2.6.15rc6 with patch found in:
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5165

This fixes the slow bootup problem and allows me to remove the idle=halt
option. However, the suspend/resume results are sadly the same.

Karl.

Does your problem look like below one?
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5757

IIRC, your CPU can't be booted after resume.

Thanks,
Shaohua

hmmm,
hard to say ... the symptoms are certainly somewhat different as I never
have problems during normal operation.
Also I can't try disabling USB-emulation (don't even know if my machine
has it) since I don't have such a switch in my BIOS settings.

Karl.
