Hello,
[I did send something to this effect before, but it didn't show up on
the mailing list.] Saw this in the dmesg logs:
ACPI Exception (thermal-0457): AE_ERROR, ACPI thermal trip point state
changed
Please send acpidump to linux-acpi@vger.kernel.org
[20070126]
and have followed the instructions!
$ cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/*/*
0 - Active; 1 - Passive
<polling disabled>
state: ok
temperature: 49 C
critical (S5): 155 C
passive: 101 C: tc1=0 tc2=10 tsp=2 devices=
This is kernel-2.6.25.6-24.fc8.
The notebook is a Clevo M720R. Please find acpidump attached.
Regards,
James Ettle.
