How about using the following boot option?
   a. idle=poll
   b. nolapic_timer
   c. processor.max_cstate=1

If the box can be booted with the above option, please open a new bug at
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=ACPI and attach the
output of acpidump, lspci -xxx.
