Subject: [PATCH v3 2/7] ACPI: Add an interface to evaluate _OST
Date: Fri, 11 May 2012 10:36:58 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1336754223-5346-3-git-send-email-toshi.kani@hp.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1336754223-5346-1-git-send-email-toshi.kani@hp.com>

Added acpi_evaluate_hotplug_opt(). All ACPI hotplug handlers must call
this function when evaluating _OST for hotplug operations.

When CONFIG_ACPI_HOTPLUG_OST is disabled, this function is a no-op and
has no effect on the platform.

When _OST is not present on the platform, this function returns
AE_NOT_FOUND and has no effect on the platform.
