With earlier versions of acpi, i had no problems. but now, i get the following error: >ACPI: Vendor "VIA694" System "AWRDACPI" Revision 0x0 has a known ACPI >BIOS problem. >ACPI: Reason: Bogus table. This is a non-recoverable error Well, I had working acpi before, so why this error? I don't know if everything worked, but i could definitely start acpid and shutdown my pc with the power-button. This is no longer possible, since it seems that this "error"-check disables acpi completely. I don't have an acpi-proc-interface and my pc will not shut down on halt. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net emial is sponsored by: Influence the future of Java(TM) technology.
