Subject: Dell Latitude C810
Date: Sat, 25 Jan 2003 15:48:10 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200301251548.10612.vherried@insight.rr.com> (raw)
I'm running there latest BIOS A11. I notice that kernel 2.5.59 dmi_scan.c
disables ACPI. dmi_scan checks specifically for a Dell C600 then disables
all other Latitudes.
dmi_scan doesn't have any dates in it so I can't tell how old the check is.
dmi_scan on linux 2.4.19 is the same. Any thoughts to modifying dmi_scan to
let my Dell pass and see what happens?
