I notice that kernel 2.5.59 dmi_scan.c disables ACPI. dmi_scan checks specifically for a Dell C600 then disables all other Latitudes. dmi_scan doesn't have any dates in it so I can't tell how old the check is. dmi_scan on linux 2.4.19 is the same. Any thoughts to modifying dmi_scan to let my Dell pass and see what happens? -- QOTD: I love your outfit, does it come in your size?
