Hi!
A friend of mine just got his Thinkpad R40e and we tried to install Debian on
it. Long story short, a vanilla Linux 2.4.22 with ACPI enabled already
freezes while booting, right after printing the line:
ACPI: Found ECDT
If some further problems with this machine are solved we could provide some
debugging info to the list, what infomation do you need, if any? An ACPI
tables dump, dmesg output, lspci -vvv comes to mind, anything else?
