Hi,
i've noticed a similar question from another user (without answer if i
recall cerrectly):
i'm running kernel 2.6.0-test4 with swsusp and sleep selected and acpi
on. Curiously /proc/acpi/sleep does not show up...any possible clue
or...change?
2.6.0-test2 works fine, and with a toshiba satellite S5200-801 i can
S3 (sleep) the machine successfully...well cpad tends to freeze and
disappear...

	thank you,

	marco trevisani

Sorry for not being clear. You have to add a line to your /etc/fstab that look
like this:

none /sys sysfs defaults 0 0

Then make the directory /sys and mount /sys (or reboot). Then you'll find
/sys/power/state, and you can echo -n ' one of {standby|mem|disk} to
/sys/power/state.
