!#@$@!#$#@!$ This is the second time this has happened. Can we either 1.
get an acpi-ca bug tracking system or 2. tell the admins to leave me
alone?

This should go to Bob directly. If the non-Linux ACPI CA bug volume gets
high them maybe we can discuss other options, but until then I think
that's the right thing to do.

Regards -- Andy

PS Bob is on acpi-jp IIRC...

My main worry is losing track of patches sent to Bob and the mailing
lists. No offense, but I've gotten much better response out of bugs
submitted to bugme than to the mailing list. And I'm less likely to lose
them as well.

I believe my solution will be to obfuscate any non-Linux identifying
features from future bug submissions to keep them out of sight of the
pedants^H^H^H^H^H^H^H admins who have nothing better to do than cancel
legitimate bug reports.

One solution could be find the corresponding part of code in linux, and file it on bugzilla.kernel.org --Luming

Better would be probably just to tell the Bugme janitors about the special situation
about ACPI bugs and get their agreement to keep these bugs open. Obfuscating
non Linux specific bugs doesn't sound like a good idea.
