kernel and i'm=20 currently running kernel v2.6.4-vanilla. the problem popped up when i started using 2.6.3 or 2.6.2 (can't remember=20 exactly), but i know absolutely for sure that it hasn't been like this all= =20 the time. the problem is that my fan doesn't work correctly. when i compile heavy stuff during a certain time, the fan still runs like=20 there was "no load" and i get these kernel mesages: CPU#0: Running in modulated clock mode CPU#0: Temperature/speed normal CPU#0: Temperature above threshold CPU#0: Running in modulated clock mode CPU#0: Temperature/speed normal CPU#0: Temperature above threshold CPU#0: Running in modulated clock mode CPU#0: Temperature/speed normal =2E.... i get them all the time, so sysklogd spawns several processes and a= dds=20 new load to the system. there is no entry in /proc/acpi/fan the temperature is static at 75=B0....doesn't change....so that has to be a= n=20 error as well. but IIRC this has been like this with any kernel/acpi versio= n. i read some docs about testing if a dsdt is broken and how to fix it. but i'm unable to fix it :-(. i've included a dsdt dump from /proc could somebody please have a look at it, and tell me
