Hi Guys,
I used to run 2.6.3 and suspend to disk works fine. Yesterday night
I tinkered with 2.6.5-rc2-mm5 and tried suspend to disk. It failed and hung.
since the messages were not logged into syslog, all I can remember is
somthing
about preempt being the issue. Note that I didn't make any significant
changes in
my .config.
I'm not sure if it's a pmdisk/suspend issue or ACPI.
Let me know if I should post more details or I should seek help in
swsuspend list.
Dell D600
A09 Bios
Cheers, .^.

swsusp list is probably not the right place (it deals with
swsusp2). There are some bad interactions between new vm and
swsusp. Look for Andrea Arcangeli's mails on lkml.
