I've written some email, and this is som additional information:
also, You have modify your lilo.conf
append="acpi_sleep=s3_bios ide0=ata66 idebus=66 ...."
But, your kernel cannot have support for audio and cannot have
X driver from nvidia, which doesn't work.
Try orriginal nv driver from XFree86. It works well
