Subject: ac status broken with kernel 2.6.8-rc2
Date: Sun, 8 Aug 2004 14:51:01 +0300	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20040808115101.GA3498@luna.mooo.com> (raw)

The ac status reporting is completely broken for me with kernel
2.6.8-rc2 and 2.6.8-rc3-mm1.

On cold boot the power is always reported as off-line. After suspend
(swsusp2) the power is stuck on on-line. It doesn't matter for both
whether the power is actually connected or if the battery is in.

ac and battery are compiled as modules and loaded from /etc/modules and
removed/reinserted on suspend/resume cycle.

The machine is a sony vaio pcg-fxa53 (amd 1500+ and via chipset).
