On cold boot the power is always reported as off-line. After suspend (swsusp2) the power is stuck on on-line. It doesn't matter for both whether the power is actually connected or if the battery is in. ac and battery are compiled as modules and loaded from /etc/modules and removed/reinserted on suspend/resume cycle. The machine is a sony vaio pcg-fxa53 (amd 1500+ and via chipset). ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by OSTG.
