Hi Len, I have noticed something interesting. I didn't take notice but when
you shut the laptop down forcefully after ACPI is supposed to turn off all
devices. I noticed that one of the wireless devices on the laptop is still
on. You can hear buzzing coming from one of the FCC devices. When the battery
is shorted (removed) the system is completely 'off'.
If ACPI isn't fully shutting down devices wouldn't holding the power off
button for the normal 5 seconds shut the whole thing off completely?
Also, is there any patches I can test?
Thanks
Shawn.
