On my Compaq Presario 2100 notebook 'shutdown -h now' does not power off the computer anymore since 2.6.8.1-mm4. It works with 2.6.8.1-mm3. The notebook will perform the regular shutdown until it displays "Power down." and then nothing happens. I've tried to track the code changes, but it seems like everything under /drivers/acpi is the same between those two kernels (including acpi_power_off)... So not sure where the problem is. Let me know if you guys need any additional information or tests. Thanks, Andre ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: YOU BE THE JUDGE.
