I was wrong, found a new BIOS on http://www.asrock.com.tw/support/download/dl_k7vm2.htm#bios which I didn't see the first time. Now it works fine. So if one with a ASRock Mainboard an Promise Controller asks again, tell him/her to update to 1.90 Bios. Thanks for all the help and support messages I recieved, keep on doing such a good job! Greetings, Nico P.S.: Are you interested in debugging a ECS Mainboard with Transmeta Crueso on it? I own a ECS A530 notebook, which has ACPI, but does not - blank screen (x does, console not) - support ACPI sleep states (or at least panics after them) - ... If so, I would subscribe the acpi list and give you more details about it. --fWddYNRDgTk9wQGZ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) iQIVAwUBQb9bubOTBMvCUbrlAQJVrQ//UG5AVkjXRw4UR7m7O+si+2paRRx9+4VE LfQSzdigk2kNQOlRqughgwxVwRptrexnxhhOHGiRsy70zVSbFP13tfS/ZxhCrZMr 2B16UXWQCnQFfidbX4X4r/Gk1iG9C6broKAh1F5umKzlFYk8v7lPMBgtvs0hCGOb 9XlLrCSh9BOCH6uLQT2iaifaSG0Uqk5xCaPLUPLm5xCVGza+85cqZoKx11+GV1JJ wvtilG1eZItC27RcVJWWQFTZaDYFyMq5AeGiSCXqr6olnSvRgbP1+IsIcD286zPq waJxZ07udyOoZUPrF13uh44aVSh+37dS+y6VpuFO+Ew0tqq4M4O0Ywzta8SoBQ4a IrnCeJarvVdEsQCCgD1AywwNh6FkZ6nQ2Rer/0LWNN1XPZvSF6A2qPEKjHFkcRPe Mq4T/uy4ZxD11Iu0qIZBas2OVRIXOJxq9WQk6JsOMpO/z3C8kz4KkRsl7CtgR0BU WNMPxscJPGtS6ckpIYR+9wa8Yqdl7Js76L9jOTqqpe53CPwRYEUNjZpbQZ+1t+Yj 5mVuUATkUG3JcugPxLSVeoUuEWfKIU9NwCI9BG+pzIKd2QGlsu9ajraqRQ9t0QBB rLLI74tyHAy0V4vB1l9NRRBl3bw7sHI/lasQw7lVzQlx8MX8OM9rH1iuYl8TO2Cs CSZbPo5rQGU= =8HVB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --fWddYNRDgTk9wQGZ-- ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
