Just for the record: I've seen that work with
EHCI and OHCI, for S1 suspend (which works much
like S3 from the USB perspective) and swsusp in
poweredown "S4-ish" suspend. At least, I've seen
that work for code that went into 2.6.10-early
patches; haven't made time to re-test lately.
