Salut.

   a good job ! :) Thanks a lot.

Last night i've tested 2.6.10-rc3-mm1 kernel with S3 sleep state and i was surprised,
when i can wakeup normally :) (without hangs)

It looks very good, soundcard ALI5451 driver wakeups fine, but there is a one
   strange problem with network.
(I couldn't test X, because this version have several bugs, also X's
disfunction.:( I think, nv driver have work well for me.)

Resolver did not work, i guess.

When i try to ping to another site: Uknown host.

But when i try to ping with IP address, it is all right.

   Any ideas ?

Looks like you lost your network configuration. This is not really a bug, as
you might have moved your computer somewhere else while it was suspended.

Try to restart your network, e.g. /etc/init.d/network restart, depending on
your disto. The ifplugd daemon could take care of this for you. If you move
between different WLANs you may want to use waproamd too.

Cheers,
Stefan

Yeah !

  -laptop Acer TM632
  -with vanilla kernel 2.6.10
  -with GNU nvidia driver.

S3 state (sleep and wakeup) works perfectly.

I think, it looks like we have full ACPI support.

  Good job, thanks !

Hi

Without this line in lilo.conf, resume will fail, (i think so).

append="acpi_sleep=s3_bios"

Actually, i don't have any pcmcia card, so i've removed this drivers from
my kernel.
Try to build your kernel and sleep without pcmcia code.

see you
