Subject: Dell Latitude C840
Date: Thu, 27 Jan 2005 17:23:27 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200501271723.27749.mevoli@kodak.com> (raw)
I'm having trouble with suspending my dell latitude c840. I'm running
Suse 9.2 with ACPI. When I try to suspend to ram or disk, I get a
message stating that mode 3 and 4 are not supported and the machine
never suspends. While reading on google, others seem to have this
working. Could you help me understand what's going wrong? Thanks.
If I need some latest development code, please let me know so I can
compile it into my system. Not having suspend capability is a major
problem for me since I can't leave my laptop running all the time and
it takes too long to shutdown/reboot between meetings.
