Hi,
My question may not be about ACPI development (I'm ACPI user only) but I need to
ask my question. This list seems to fit this topic.
Why all Acer Aspire model numbers have strange form in this browser
http://acpi.sourceforge.net/dsdt/view.php?manufacturer=ACER
I mean why there is 3002 instead of 3020 or 5002 instead of 5020?
Or may be 3002 has nothing to do with 3020 model?
Thanks for any explanation.
p.s. I'm going to upgrade DSDT in my Acer Aspire 5021 that why I ask.
Thanks for your great work on ACPI!
Cheers
Mateusz Łoskot

I'm going to upgrade DSDT in my Acer Aspire 5021 that why I ask. so it might be that 5021 is the same family and thus DSDT-compatible with 5020 and also with 5002. or not... you should contact Acer to ask them about the relations of the numbers. or you could search the net extensively for product infos. hth, Sebastian -- Oo......................................................................oO Der naechste Satz ist eine Luege. OK, but do I understand correctly that 3002 is something different to 3020? Are you trying to say both numbers are valid? Sorry for my ignorance, but there are no model numbers like 3002, 5002 on this website: http://global.acer.com/products/notebook/index.htm > > p.s.
