Hello,
I have been trying to fix my DSDT and I have fixed all the problems except
this one, and it's not giving me an error so I was hoping someone that know's
a little more about this sort of stuff could take a look at it and see if
they can spot the problem.
About every 5 seconds or so, but not at a constant interval (sometimes every 2
seconds, sometimes up to 30 seconds) the power management is trying to park
the head on my hard drive. The drive makes the same spin up then click that
happens right before the system powers off, so I'm guessing it's trying to
park the head. This happens over and over again and I'm not sure where to
begin.
I have tried turning on all the debug messages for ACPI, as well as for the
acpi deamon, but it's not saying anything about this. Does anybody have any
ideas?
Thanks,
-Elliott
