Does somebody know, how i can read the cycle counter for battery charge on IBM Thinkpads? You can read the number with "IBM Battery MaxiMiser" under windows. I hope it could be possible to read the value the same way as other=20 values from /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/info were read. Is there documentation for vendor specific things like cycle count? regards Stefan Schmidt --wRRV7LY7NUeQGEoC Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDf7A2bNSsvd31FmURAjCOAJ9u1uoEQTSYX0YjEcTLtbQ3cvWEFwCghvuO Bcr5T+wBODrDcUbNCa+Tb20= =JAzs -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --wRRV7LY7NUeQGEoC-- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc.
