Have you tried using the ec_burst=3D1 kernel option? I have a few HP=20 Omnibook 5x0/6x00 series laptops that require it to work correctly. Without ec_burst=3D1 battery, thermal, brightness keys etc. are all=20 broken. PS. Big thanks to the ACPI people. The early ec_burst patches didn't work=20 correctly with these laptops but now I'm running 2.6.14-mm1 and=20 everything appears to work perfectly. --=20 Ville Syrj=E4l=E4 syrjala-ORSVBvAovxo@public.gmane.org http://www.sci.fi/~syrjala/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc.
