I just compiled 2.6.23-rc4 on this setup to check if we made any
progress. After reboot i see:

Hugh debugged and fixed this one, and it is checked into 2.6.23-rc4-git3
62e6f1e8bb7c48c02b8bdb3085c5f6365682149b 
fix maxcpus=1 oops in show_stat()

Since i dont get _any_ feedback on my reports/emails, 
i think it's best if we just ignore this problem.
