Wysocki" , "linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org" , ACPI Devel Mailing List Hi Lei, can you please provide information, which system you are using. dmesg (please use apic=3Ddebug kernel parameter), output of lspci -nnxxxx (as root), This reminds me on some HP laptop issues, see https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D11715 https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D11516 The BIOSes on HP laptops somehow checked IO-APIC configuration and set trip_points differently (for unknown reason).
