Something I noticed when looking through processor.c in the ACPI code is that it wants to idle each CPU individually, which I have observed cannot be done with the AMD-760MP(X) chipsets. C2 and C3 idle is applied to both CPUs at once, there is not choice of which CPU to idle and which to not idle. On how many other chipsets is this also the case? --John ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Jabber - The world's fastest growing real-time communications platform!
