Tested the new patch on my Intel srmk2 server (dual-1GHz PIII(256k)  + 
AMIBIOS).
Configuration: 2.4.20-pre8 + acpi-20021002.

No improvement: the interrupt assignment does not work properly, and the 
machine does not boot.
