Obviously the drivers in RH 8.0 (kernel version 2.4.18-18.8) don't do anything useful. I was hoping to try out a newer development driver but I'm not sure if it's best to just try the acpi-20020918 for which 2.4.18 patches are available, or should I not bother with those and go with the latest drivers for 2.4.20, which obviously means upgrading to that kernel??? -- Greg Gulik http://www.gulik.org/greg/ greg @ gulik.org http://www.drivingevents.com/ ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
