Subject: Battery Oops - more information
Date: Mon, 09 Dec 2002 13:56:08 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3DF4E748.3080300@casero.com> (raw)

A little bit more research yeilds, that it is only when the battery is
in when the oops occurs.
System is
Dell i8200/BIOS A7/two batteries/Debian/2.4.20 - from debian
Modprobe works.
# modprobe battery
ACPI: Battery Slot [BAT0] (battery absent)
ACPI: Battery Slot [BAT1] (battery absent)
So that worked.
Lots more below, so I will finish the body of the email here. I have
attached my dsdt (since that seems to be the norm). If there is
anything else that I can do, give me an email.
Matt
