Hello,
I am looking at investigating more fully how ACPI is supported on my
Dell i8200.
First step, IMHO is to examining the kernel view of the ACPI namespace
and compare that to what a decompiled DSDT provides. Do people prefer a
/proc entry that provides the dump, or a userland tool that interacts
with some data structures within the kernel.
I would prefer to not decompile the DSDT to provide it, but rather deal
with the data structures from there kernel.
Regards,
Matthew
