Please note that I am an ABSOLUTE newbie as far as kernel programming = is concerned. I've written a kernel module (very, very=20 simple) to learn about some kernel interfaces. Also I've read some ACPI a= nd smartbattery specs, but nothing i could use today. In just a few words, I am 100% willing to help writing/testing the smartb= attery driver.
